Concept-Art
German brand • Nuremberg
„Concept-art“ is the Nuremberg company founded by barista tool designer Jörg F. Rexroth. Today it is called „JoeFrex“ and carries on the same traditions of quality and innovation.
Craft
Skilled hands, inventive ideas
From 1990 Jörg F. Rexroth made furniture and other objects in his own workshop, admired for their craftsmanship and inventiveness.
Origins
Knock boxes that became classics
In 1996 the founder built a knock box for a friend's espresso machine. Word soon reached the experts, and that first job grew into the now-classic „Concept-art“ knock boxes.
Passion
Valued worldwide
Buyers around the world are won over by the founder's dedication to new ideas and a passion that has not faded since his first days in the workshop.
Plastic knock box „Concept-art & JoeFrex“ Basic KBG (grey)
„Concept-art & JoeFrex“ Basic KBG — grey plastic knock box
A sturdy box that holds about 30 spent pucks and goes in the dishwasher.
The Basic KBG is a round knock box in hard, food-safe plastic, 100 mm in diameter and 120 mm high. Tap the portafilter on the bar and the puck drops into the box, so you're ready to pull the next shot.
What makes it practical
Each knock is muffled and gentle on your portafilter: the bar has an aluminium core under a thick silicone sleeve.
The box stays put while you knock, thanks to a non-slip silicone ring underneath.
The whole box empties and washes easily: lift the bar out and put the box in the dishwasher.
Colours and other models
The same box also comes in red (KBR) and black (KBS) — pick the colour that suits your café. If you need a larger box, choose the stainless steel „Concept-art & JoeFrex“ Metal M KMM (2.5 l).
