In a commercial potato peeler, a spinning abrasive disc and drum walls lined with an abrasive belt take off the skins while water rinses the peelings away. This category features Italian-made „Fama Industrie“ machines with AISI 304 stainless steel bodies.
- Load and output. The 5 kg machine peels up to 150 kg of potatoes an hour, the 10 kg up to 300 kg, the 18 kg up to 500 kg and the 30 kg up to 700 kg.
- Versions. The machines come on legs, with a stand or with a high stand, and the 5 kg is also available as a benchtop model. The stand and high-stand versions have a waste filter drawer that catches the peelings.
- Power supply. Every machine can be ordered for a three-phase 400 V or a single-phase 230 V supply.
