This machine peels up to 150 kg of potatoes an hour, taking 60–90 seconds for a 5 kg load. That is plenty for cafés, pizzerias, pubs and small restaurant kitchens.

The high stand raises the machine to an overall height of 970 mm. Built into the stand is a pull-out waste filter drawer that catches the peelings before they reach the drain.

The body is made of AISI 304 stainless steel. A fan-cooled, Italian-made 0.37 kW asynchronous motor drives the disc through a belt.

Abrasive disc and abrasive belt

The potatoes are peeled by the spinning abrasive disc and by the drum walls, which are lined with an abrasive belt. The disc turns at 270 rpm, while water fed through a solenoid valve rinses the peelings away.

The abrasive belt can be replaced without tools, and the abrasive parts are designed to make the machine easy to use, clean and maintain. Look for replacement abrasive discs and abrasive belts in the ‘Potato peeler spare parts’ category.

Digital controls and safety

The control panel has a multifunction digital timer: set the peeling time with the + and − buttons and read it on the display. The electrics are housed in a separate insulated plastic box.

The lid is unbreakable clear plastic, so you can watch the peeling without opening the machine. A safety microswitch stops the machine when the lid is opened.

Installation

Connect the water supply with a 3/4″ flexible hose; the water temperature should be 5–20 °C. Waste water can go to a wall drain (Ø 50 mm side outlet) or a floor drain (Ø 50 mm bottom outlet). The machine is built for a three-phase 400 V or a single-phase 230 V supply — select yours under ‘Electrical voltage’.

What’s included

The machine comes with an abrasive disc, an abrasive belt, a clear plastic lid and a waste filter drawer. A stainless steel lid is available at extra cost — tick it under ‘Options’.
