Potato peeler „Fama Industrie“ 30 kg with stand

30 kg potato peeler with waste filter drawer

This machine peels up to 700 kg of potatoes an hour, taking 120–150 seconds for a 30 kg load. It is the largest „Fama Industrie“ potato peeler, built for canteens, caterers and other kitchens that get through a lot of potatoes.

The machine sits on a stand with a pull-out waste filter drawer that catches the peelings before they reach the drain. The overall height, including the stand, is 970 mm.

The body is made of AISI 304 stainless steel. A fan-cooled, Italian-made 0.96 kW asynchronous motor drives the disc through a belt.

Abrasive disc and abrasive belt

The potatoes are peeled by the spinning abrasive disc and by the drum walls, which are lined with an abrasive belt. The disc turns at 240 rpm, while water fed through a solenoid valve rinses the peelings away.

The abrasive belt can be replaced without tools, and the abrasive parts are designed to make the machine easy to use, clean and maintain. Look for replacement abrasive discs and abrasive belts in the ‘Potato peeler spare parts’ category.

Controls, safety and unloading

The control panel has a multifunction digital timer: set the peeling time with the + and − buttons and read it on the display. The electrics are housed in a separate insulated plastic box.

The lid is stainless steel with an inspection window. Safety microswitches stop the machine when the lid or the discharge door is opened. Peeled potatoes are unloaded through the front discharge door and chute using the manual discharge button.

Installation

Connect the water supply with a 3/4″ flexible hose; the water temperature should be 5–20 °C. Waste water can go to a wall drain (Ø 50 mm side outlet) or a floor drain (Ø 40 mm bottom outlet). The machine is built for a three-phase 400 V or a single-phase 230 V supply — select yours under ‘Electrical voltage’.

What’s included

The machine comes with an abrasive disc, an abrasive belt, a stainless steel lid and a waste filter drawer.

We sell three versions of the 30 kg „Fama Industrie“ peeler: on legs, with stand and with high stand. They all peel the same way; what differs is the height, the weight, the drain outlets and whether there is a waste filter drawer.
