Who it is for

The H64 is built for espresso at home. It takes up just 140 × 215 mm of worktop, so it fits beside any espresso machine.

A grind that suits your beans

Whatever coffee you choose, you dial in the grind that gives an aromatic espresso with a good crema. The stepless knob on the upper right makes it finer or coarser by as little as you need.

The right grind shifts with the blend, the roast and even the humidity in the air; a small turn of the knob brings it back, so your espresso tastes the same day after day.

Your dose at the press of a button

Grind a single, a double or your own custom dose with one short press of the grind button: the display counts down the seconds and the grinder stops automatically.

You fine-tune each dose time in 0.1-second steps, so you get exactly the dose you want, cup after cup.

When you need a different amount, switch to continuous mode: the grinder runs for as long as you hold the grind button.

The grinder starts up in the last mode you used, so your everyday dose is ready to go.

From the hopper or one dose at a time

Keep a day’s beans in the 300 g hopper, or switch to single dosing whenever you want to try a different coffee: swap in the single-dose bellows hopper, add the beans for one dose and press the bellows to blow out any grounds retained in the grinder.

The adjustable portafilter holder keeps your portafilter steady under the spout, so the grounds drop straight into the basket; for single dosing, the cup fork holds the dosing cup there instead.

Comparison

The H64 is the compact choice: narrower, shorter and lighter than the P74.

For a café or any other high-volume setting, choose the „Ascaso“ P74, with 74 mm burrs, a 1.5 kg hopper and a fan-cooled motor.

• Power supply: 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz mains, 245 W. Plug the grinder straight into a wall socket.
• Location: a flat, stable surface at a comfortable working height, as close to the espresso machine as possible.
• Dimensions and weight: 140 × 215 × 350 mm (W × D × H), 7 kg.

Running costs and service

The burrs last for 400–600 kg of coffee before they need replacing, and the built-in counters show how many coffees the grinder has ground.

We also supply H64 spare parts, such as the control display (I.5652) and its connection cable (I.5651).

What’s in the box

The grinder comes with a 300 g bean hopper and a single-dose kit: a bellows hopper, a dosing cup and a cup fork. The adjustable portafilter holder is fitted to the body.

This grinder is black; the same model is also available in white.
