„Macap“ designed the first dynamometric tamper together with „illy“, so the coffee is tamped precisely and the same way every time, with no room for human error.

The horizontal doser
The family firm's first true revolution was the horizontal doser, which transformed the whole coffee grinding industry. Today the Leo 55 grinder has patented flat burrs.
