Universo
Italian manufacturer • Florence
„Universo“ began in Florence in the 1950s, when founder Gino Filieri started handcrafting charcoal grills and spit roasters. Today these handmade pieces are the hallmark of many restaurants in Italy and around the world.
Innovation
Planetary spit system
Gino Filieri designed the first wood-fired roasters with a planetary spit system, now a standard in the trade, and a mechanism for setting the grill grid position.
Craftsmanship
Hand-finished to the last detail
Craftsmen hand-weld every grill and roaster and finish it down to the smallest detail, while laser cutting and machining centres complement the traditional craft.
Made to order
Built for your restaurant
„Universo“ builds its grills and roasters to order, helps you configure them to your idea and can finish them in any RAL colour.
