„Ascaso“ group head shower screen, Ø 51.5 mm (I..278)
This is an original „Ascaso“ I..278 group head shower screen — a flat, perforated Ø 51.5 mm stainless steel disc through which water from the group head flows onto the coffee. A clean shower screen spreads the water evenly over the whole coffee bed.
The shower screen fits „Ascaso“ Dream, Dream ZERO, Arc, Basic, Elipse and Steel machines (Uno, Duo, Trio, i-Steel with 2012–2016 group heads) — from the first boiler Dream to the Dream ZERO Versatile with the March 2022 group head. You will find the exact list of „Ascaso“ group heads in the ‘Fits models’ tab. Fixed-filter (Porta Fijo, PF) group heads use the I...55 shower screen, and Dream ONE, Dream PID and later Steel machines with Versatile group heads take the I.4567 shower screen (Ø 60 mm).
The shower screen screws onto the shower holder with the central I..304 screw (M4 × 20 mm). The group heads „Ascaso“ introduced for its home machines in 2015 use the I.2698 shower holder. For machines made before April 2015, the shower screen also comes in the KIT 1 ground coffee kit, together with the I..277 insert and the I..304 screw.
