„Sammic“ MO-1434 — a 34 L programmable microwave with a 1,400 W magnetron

The same cabinet and 100 programmes as the MO-1034, with a more powerful magnetron.

Choose it where the microwave hardly ever stops: fast-food counters, pizzerias, snack bars and busy cafés. The 1,400 W magnetron heats a dish faster than 1,000 W ovens, so every cycle is shorter — which really shows at peak times.

The cabinet and the 34 L cavity are stainless steel. The oven plugs into a standard 230 V socket and draws 1,900 W.

A ceramic base instead of a turntable

The cavity floor is a fixed ceramic plate. With no turntable, the whole floor is usable — rectangular dishes that would catch on the cavity walls as a turntable rotates fit without trouble.

Inside, the cavity measures 370 × 385 × 230 mm. The flat floor is quick to wipe: there is no plate and no spindle for food to build up around.

100 programmes, started with one key

Keys 0 to 9 come preset from the factory with times from 10 s to 5 min at full power, so the oven is ready to use straight away. You can assign your own time and power to each key, and in two-digit mode the memory holds 100 programmes.

A programme can have up to three stages at different power levels — defrost first, then reheat, for example. Stored programmes survive a power cut.

Power is selected with the 0 % (hold), 20 % (defrost), 50 % and 70 % keys; pressing the same key twice gives 100 %. The X2 key is for a double portion: it adds 80 % to the programme time (the factor can be changed).

Settings to suit your kitchen

The settings let you choose the maximum cooking time — 60 or 10 min — as well as the end-of-cycle signal and its volume. On-the-fly cooking can be enabled too: press another number while the oven is running and that programme starts at once.

Service mode shows magnetron operating hours, the cycle count and the number of door openings, which makes maintenance easier to plan.

Installation and care

The oven stands on a counter. Leave 10 cm on the right and at the back and 30 cm above it; the left side must stay open. Where space is short, two ovens can be stacked using the mounting plate.

The grease shield at the top of the cavity and the air filter should be removed and cleaned regularly — a blocked filter makes the oven overheat. The cavity only needs wiping with a cloth dampened in warm water and a mild detergent.
