Launched in 1961, the E61 was the first machine to brew with a pump delivering 9 atmospheres instead of a lever. Pre-wetting the ground coffee draws out the most aroma.
Design
Created with leading designers
The Faematronic was designed by Ettore Sottsass and Aldo Cibic, while the E91, with its self-diagnostic system, and the Emblema came from Giugiaro.
