Concept-Art
German brand • Nuremberg
„Concept-art“ is the Nuremberg company founded by barista tool designer Jörg F. Rexroth. Today it is called „JoeFrex“ and carries on the same traditions of quality and innovation.
Craft
Skilled hands, inventive ideas
From 1990 Jörg F. Rexroth made furniture and other objects in his own workshop, admired for their craftsmanship and inventiveness.
Origins
Knock boxes that became classics
In 1996 the founder built a knock box for a friend's espresso machine. Word soon reached the experts, and that first job grew into the now-classic „Concept-art“ knock boxes.
Passion
Valued worldwide
Buyers around the world are won over by the founder's dedication to new ideas and a passion that has not faded since his first days in the workshop.
Under-grinder knock drawer „Concept-art & JoeFrex“ Exclusive DXS (23 × 30 cm)
„Concept-art & JoeFrex“ Exclusive DXS — under-grinder knock drawer
Stand a grinder or a small espresso machine (up to 30 kg) on the sturdy steel housing and knock the pucks into the pull-out drawer below.
The Exclusive DXS is a stainless steel housing with a pull-out drawer, 230 mm wide, 300 mm deep (350 mm including the handle) and 110 mm high.
What makes it practical
The grinder on top stays steady while you knock: the bar is mounted on the drawer through silicone, so the impact stays in the drawer.
Each knock is muffled: the sturdy aluminium bar has a food-safe silicone sleeve, and when the bar wears out, you lift it out and fit a new one.
The drawer glides smoothly and quietly on PVC rails, and the rubberised full-width handle is easy to grip.
The housing stands firmly on two solid rubber supports, with an extra rubber buffer screwed under the drawer front.
Other models
For a wide grinder, choose the Exclusive DXL (36 × 30 cm). For a medium-sized grinder, the compact DSP (19.5 × 27 cm) is enough.
