Coffee oil cleaner in tablet form for espresso machine group heads, filters and portafilters. 60 tablets of 2.5 g per pack.
„Coffee Clean“ are cleaning tablets made in Italy by „REPA“ that thoroughly clean the espresso machine group head, filters and portafilters. They have a powerful degreasing and emulsifying action and release active oxygen as they dissolve. The tablets are odourless and dissolve readily, and the solution rinses off easily, leaving the cleaned parts spotless.
Applications
- Espresso machine group heads — backflushed with a blind filter.
- Filters and portafilters — soaked in a hot solution.
Directions for use
Group head cleaning: put a tablet into a portafilter fitted with a blind filter and lock it into the group. Start the brew, then switch it off and on again roughly every 10 seconds; repeat 4–5 times, then flush the group with water.
Soaking filters and portafilters: dissolve one tablet in a litre of hot water, soak the filters and portafilters for 30 minutes or longer, then rinse them thoroughly.
Safe use
Warning: causes serious eye irritation (H319). Wear eye protection.
