„Metallurgica Motta“ 07750 — compact knock box

A tap knocks the spent puck out of the portafilter, and at just 105 mm across the box fits neatly beside your espresso machine. Made in Italy.

The 07750 is a tall cylindrical knock box in 18/10 (AISI 304) stainless steel, 105 mm in diameter and about 150 mm high. Tap the portafilter on the bar and the puck drops into the box, so you're ready to pull the next shot.

What makes it practical

Each knock is muffled and gentle on your portafilter: the bar is rubber-coated.

The bar is easy to reach from the front: the rim is cut at an angle, so the front wall sits lower than the back.

The box comes apart for thorough cleaning: the bar is held by two knobs — unscrew them and lift it out.

The box stays put while you knock, and a rubber pad underneath protects the counter.

Which knock box to choose

The 07750 fits on a narrow counter next to a compact espresso machine or grinder. If you'd like to empty the box less often and have a rubber collar protecting your portafilter, choose the wider „Metallurgica Motta“ 08250.
