This cooker is built for restaurant, hotel and catering kitchens: its cast iron hotplates are just as good at bringing large quantities of water to the boil as at keeping food hot.
The four hotplates have a combined output of 10.4 kW. Each round plate measures 220 mm in diameter, is rated at 2.6 kW and heats up to 400 °C.
The worktop and front panels are made of AISI 304 stainless steel. Below the worktop is an open cabinet on height-adjustable feet.
Each hotplate has its own 6-position switch, so the power can be adjusted in steps, from the lowest setting to full power. According to the manufacturer, this direct way of controlling the heat also saves energy.
Each plate has a built-in safety thermostat to prevent overheating. Indicator lights on the control panel show when the cooker is live and when the hotplates are on.
The worktop is pressed from a single sheet of stainless steel, with the hotplates sealed into it.
Spills cannot seep inside, so the cooker is quick to clean and easy to look after — essential in kitchens with strict hygiene standards.
The cooker runs on a 380–415 V three-phase and neutral supply (3N~) and has a total rating of 10.4 kW. The electrical connection is at the back on the right-hand side, 660 mm above the floor. The cooker must be connected to the mains by a qualified electrician.
The cooker comes with an open cabinet. The cabinet can be fitted with a pair of doors (2P 400, with handles) — just tick the box under “Options”.
