What it is for
You make snow ice and crushed ice for cocktails, other drinks and fish displays.
The duty cycle is 15 minutes on and 5 minutes off (EN 60335-2-64).
Adjustable disc, lever and drawer
Ice cubes go into the feed chute, and the sturdy, ergonomic lever presses them onto the spinning disc (1,500 rpm on a 50 Hz supply). Two screws set the position of the knife on the disc: the cutting height decides whether you get snow ice or crushed ice.
The ice drops into a pull-out 800 g drawer made of shockproof, BPA-free plastic, with a stainless steel plate in the bottom. Materials in contact with food comply with Regulations (EC) No 1935/2004 and (EU) No 10/2011.
Raising the lever stops the motor and lowering it starts it again; pulling out the drawer switches the ice crusher off, and once the drawer is back in, you restart the ice crusher with the switch.
A sturdy body
The body is cast aluminium and stainless steel, and the disc is driven by an induction motor with an internal thermal cut-out. If the motor jams or the power fails, the waterproof switch trips to 0. The noise level is 71 dB(A) at 1 m.
The ice crusher is quick to clean: the housing with the feed chute and lever lifts off, as does the disc, and with the locking key that holds the housing you also undo the disc screw.

If you need large amounts of crushed ice for granitas (about 120 kg an hour), choose the „Fimar“ TRL; for cocktail ice pieces in a size you set, go for the „Fimar“ ROGM.
Installation and connections
- Power supply: single-phase 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz, 600 W. The plug goes into its own standard earthed socket (2 pole + earth) on a circuit protected by a residual current device (RCD) and a 16 A fuse.
- Location: a worktop or bar counter indoors, away from sources of heat, sloping by up to 10°, with all the feet resting on it.
- Dimensions and weight: 250 × 420 × 350 mm, 14.7 kg.
Running and spare parts
The housing, disc and drawer are washed with washing-up liquid or in the dishwasher; the body just needs a wipe with a damp sponge and an occasional polish with a non-abrasive glass or metal cleaner. The bearings are lubricated for life.
The wear part is the disc with its knife. Spare parts are ordered by the manufacturer's part numbers: ice crushing disc — 09201, drawer — 09502, locking key — 09126. Part numbers for everything else are in the spare parts diagram on the ‘Technical Data Sheet’ tab.
