Centrifugal juicer „Bartscher“ Top Juicer

The „Bartscher“ Top Juicer is a compact centrifugal juicer with an XXL feed chute and two speeds for fruit and vegetable juices. It has a 700 W motor and runs at up to 18,000 rpm.

What it is for

The Top Juicer is built for light work: you squeeze fresh juice a few glasses at a time — apples, pineapples, oranges, grapes, melons, carrots, celeriac, beetroot and tomatoes work especially well. For banana, papaya, fig, avocado or mango purée, use the „Santos“ #33 Evolution blender.

The duty cycle is up to 3 minutes of continuous running, then a break of about 20 minutes.

Feed chute, basket and pulp container

Whole apples go straight into the XXL feed chute (Ø 75 mm), and pushing the pusher down slowly and gently gives you the most juice.

The basket turns with the motor: its blades shred the produce, a fine stainless steel mesh holds back the pulp and seeds, and the juice runs through the bowl spout into the jug with its splash-guard lid.

Pulp collects in a 2 L container that you lift off and empty without dismantling the juicer; with a plastic bag inside, the container cleans up even faster.

Two speeds and secure locking

Speed 1 is for soft, watery produce such as oranges or watermelon, and speed 2 for hard, fibrous produce such as apples, ginger, celery and carrots. For mixed juices, put the soft fruit through first and the hard produce after — that way you get the most juice.

A locking arm with a safety device holds the lid: the juicer runs when all parts are fitted and the arm is latched, and stops at once when you release the arm.

Comparison

The Top Juicer is our most compact centrifugal juicer: it weighs 4.4 kg and has two speeds and an XXL feed chute.

If you need more juice, more often, choose the „Santos“ #50: up to 140 L/h, a 10 L pulp container and a duty cycle of 2 minutes on, 4 minutes off.

Installation and connections

• Power supply: single-phase 230 V, 50/60 Hz, 700 W. Plug the juicer directly into its own earthed socket rather than a multi-way adapter or extension lead.
• Location: a level, stable, dry and large enough surface that resists water and heat, in a well-ventilated place and back from the edge of the table, with at least 20 cm to combustible walls and objects.
• Dimensions and weight: 210 × 310 × 400 mm, 4.4 kg.

Running and spare parts

You clean the juicer after each use: the removable parts go in the dishwasher or under warm running water, the basket is cleaned with the brush supplied, and the motor unit just needs a wipe with a damp cloth.
